Orange Amplifiers' OPC get price tag
Orange Amplifiers' much-awaited OPC, a computer-powered amplifier, has been priced at £1199.
The OPC provides musicians with playing, recording, editing and computing features. It also offers a 24-bit audio interface with inputs for microphones and guitars.
The product features x64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, and comes with Presonus Studio Orange custom edition, EZ Drummer Lite, Licklibrary and Acoustica Mixcraft.

Three introduces new 'one-touch' MiFi device
Mobile broadband operator ‘Three’ has introduced a one-touch MiFi device, the Huawei 585, which allows users to establish a localized WiFi hotspot to be used by up to five devices.
The new MiFi device uses a 3G data connection to set up connection among several wireless devices. 3 said that it teamed up with Chinese manufacturer Huawei to develop the device that offers one button to connect, an improved screen and a grand browser dashboard which works across Windows, Mac and Linux devices.
Virgin Media lags behind other networks in announcing iPhone 4
Virgin Media is the only major network provider in the UK that hasn’t announced any plans to sell Apple’s newly unveiled iPhone 4.
The iPhone 4 is just two weeks away from its UK launch and five major mobile phone operators viz. T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone and Orange and ‘3’ have already confirmed that they would sell much-anticipated iPhone 4 smartphone.
Network provider ‘3’ has recently announced that customers would be able to pre-order iPhone 4 starting Tuesday, June 15th. However, none of the operators has announced the details of prices and tariffs for the upcoming phone.

The battery of the latest version of the iPhone offers up to 7 hours of talk time over the 3G network. The iPhone 4G supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks. Thus, a person using the phone to talk over the 2G network gets a longer talk time.
End of unlimited data plans to affect only small fraction of O2 customers
Network provider O2’s recent announcement that it would discontinue offering unlimited data plans will affect only a small fraction of O2 customers.
First of all, customers with existing O2 contracts will not be affected by new pricing as it will apply only to new customers and customers are renewing their contracts with O2.
Argos sales falls more-than-expected; shares tumble
Home Retail Group reported worse-than-expected drop in sales at its catalogue-based Argos stores for the quarter ended May 29th, in a move that dragged shares down by 4.08 per cent or 9.7 pence to 228.3 pence-a-share. Like-for-like sales at Argos slipped 8.1 per cent over the 13-week period, leading to a 5.2 per cent fall in revenue. Total sales slipped 5.2 per cent to settle at £889 million.
Home Retail Group also announced that its Homebase chain suffered a fall of 1.4 per cent in sales over the same period.

Greene King to Purchase Four More Pubs from Punch Taverns
Greene King PLC has declared an agreement to purchase four pub restaurants. The Company will buy these pubs from Punch Taverns PLC for GBP5.3 million. This deal has brought the consideration to 23 pubs of Punch Taverns within a year. The deal between Punch Tavern and Greene King is worth £51.6 million.
The deal is unreserved for now and is expected to be finalized on July 8. It would be financed from the funds of Company rights issue. The deal would be made all in cash.
Walsh Turned Down £334,000 Bonus
The BA boss, Willie Walsh who was involved in a heated argument with the cabin crew union, last week is now denying to accept the windfall considering it “inappropriate”.
The strike resulted in a total loss of around £154million to the British Airways
Cabin crew union said that it might lead to chaos if Walsh had taken the bonus.
Walsh who is earning £735,000 a year refused the bonus because of the dispute and £531m loss on EBIT.

9% Fall In Shares of Argos's Parent Company
